DNS Transfer Instructions

DNS Transfer Instructions In order to start using your domain name, you must point your domain name to our name servers. This is called 'DNS Transfer'. The transfer process depends on the registrar with whom you registered your domain name. Most registrars request that you log on to their systems and transfer the domain name yourself using the user name and password they assigned you.

Once you have logged on to their site, you will need to change your current nameserver information to HostBreak's information given below.

Note: If you do not remember who your registrar is, you can go to www.domainregistry.com, enter your domain name and search for the registrar by clicking on the "Go" button and then "further information" button which will list the Registrar of Record on your domain. Once you have this information, you can contact the registrar directly.

For Shared Hosting Custmers:

Primary Server Hostname: ns1.hostbreak.com
Secondary Server Hostname: ns2.hostbreak.com

Please contact other registrars directly to ask about their DNS transfer procedures. Inform them that you wish to transfer your domain to HostBreak, and provide them with the nameserver information listed above.

While waiting for the new nameserver information to propagate around the Internet, you may upload your data and view the website at http://www.hostbreak.com/YourDomain until the transfer is complete.
